This last year I ended in the exact middle of my blackout bullet journal. I could not bring myself to start a new journal for the new year and waste all of those beautiful, quality pages! So I started a new year in the middle of my journal.
To separate 2020 from 2021, I created a 2021 cover page!
This isn’t a must for everyone, but for me it’s like creating a cover for a new book. It sets the tone for the next chapter of life!
The Key page helps me determine how I will organize my appointments, tasks, reminders, and more.
The calendar helps me set up each month correctly with the right dates. You’d be amazed how many times I messed up the month before adding this page!
The Future Log is a new addition to my journal. I really have a hard time keeping everyone’s birthdates, anniversaries, and other important dates memorized. This layout will help me write down all of the dates and events I need to remember, with the corresponding month and day.
Here is a close up and a view of the other half of the year.
This spread is already so helpful to me! Would you find this helpful in your journal?
Are you a goal setter? Did you know that people who write their goals down on paper, are 60% more likely to achieve their goals?
That’s why I like to write down what I’m believing to achieve that year.
Did you know that the mindset you have about achieving your goals is key to actually achieving them?
“Whether you believe you can, or if you believe you can’t, you are right.” ~Henry Ford~
Choosing what I will believe in advance helps set myself up for success in the long run.
After all of my new year/new journal pages are set up, I go right into my monthly cover page.
I won’t go over a monthly set up in this post, but I wanted to show you my flow of what I go into once my journal is set up!
I have a post coming on how to set up a month worth of spreads and what I include. Stay tuned!
I hope you found some inspiration and useful pages to include in your next journal set up!
